The Army Corps of Engineers manages prime campground property near the dam. These sites are known for their great views of the lake and great fishing around the dam. Close by you’ll find the Chocchuma Fitness Trail with 18 workout stations spread throughout a one-mile nature trail. The spillway has its own pavilions with grills, a bike loop, and playground perfect for energized kiddos. If you are looking for a hike, check out the hidden bluff and little mountain trails nearby with hundreds of feet in elevation offering differing vantage points of the surrounding land.
There are 128 developed camping sites located at a shaded area near the Outlet Channel below the Grenada Lake Dam that can be reserved online and an additional 35 sites may be reserved through the Hugh White State Park Campground office.
Each site features water, electrical hook-ups, picnic tables, and grills. Hot showers are available in four bathhouses, and a central sewage dumping station is located in the developed camping area.
All sites are available for reservations up to 24-months and are highly recommended. Monthly camping may be available. Please check with the park office for availability.
